Miles watches as Spider-Man attempts to disable the collider while fighting Kingpin's enforcers, Green Goblin and Prowler. A sequel is set to be released on October 7, 2022, and a spin-off film is also in development. While there hasn't been an official announcement from Sony Pictures, a Linkedin listing from a CFX supervisor (via Cosmic Circus) who also worked on the first film refers to the sequel as Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.
Now, the movie's title has reportedly been revealed. Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse is considered by many to be the best Spider-Man film - animated or otherwise - yet, so there is understandably a lot of excitement surrounding the upcoming sequel.
